Dr. Sam Joseph
Dr. Sam Joseph received his Medical Degree from the Mahatma Gandhi University in Kerala, India. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA, during which he was the recipient of the Most Outstanding Graduate Resident and Teaching Resident of the Year (2022) awards. In June 2024, he completed his Fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Grand Strand Medical Center, Myrtle Beach, SC. He is also a Certified Clinical Densitometrist. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and board eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
He is well-versed with managing a variety of endocrine disorders including Diabetes, Thyroid and Parathyroid disease, Adrenal disorders, Pituitary disorders, Osteoporosis & Bone Metabolism disorders, and Reproductive Endocrine disorders. He has special interests in Diabetes Technology, Osteoporosis and disorders of Bone Metabolism. He performs procedures such as Thyroid Ultrasound, and Ultrasound-guided Fine Needle Aspiration of Thyroid Nodules in the office.
Dr. Joseph is a member of the Endocrine Society, American Association of Clinical Endocrinology (AACE), Philadelphia Endocrine Society, Pennsylvania Medical Society (PAMED) and American Medical Association (AMA).
He is involved in teaching residents and medical students. His future interests include Interventional Endocrinology and minimally invasive thyroid cancer treatments. On August 1, 2024, Dr. Joseph becomes an integral part of Diabetes & Endocrinology Consultants of Pennsylvania, continuing and enhancing the long-standing tradition of patient-centric, timely, evidence-informed Endocrine care to our community, and being a steady & trustworthy professional support system to our colleagues.
